SAM STICKELS

Sam graduated with a degree in computer science from Grinnell College, but everything shifted after spending a semester abroad at the Fordham London Dramatic Academy. Immersed in conservatory-style training—studying Shakespeare, voice, and movement—while watching incredible West End productions, Sam knew acting was what he wanted to pursue.

Now based in Brooklyn, Sam splits his time between auditioning, acting, taking voice/dance classes and teaching tennis, sharing his love for the sport. When he’s not on stage, on set, or on the tennis court, you’ll probably find him at IFC Center, Film Forum, Metrograph, or the Museum of the Moving Image, watching as many films as he can.

This summer, Sam will be performing at the American Gothic Performing Arts Festival as Anthony Hope in Sweeney Todd, at the Great Plains Theatre as Edward Bloom in Big Fish, and at the Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre as Steven Kodaly in She Loves Me.
